A 1.5″ B roof deck (often written as B-deck) is a common type of metal decking used in construction, especially in commercial and industrial buildings.

What it is

The “1.5 inch” refers to the depth of the ribs (the vertical profile height).
The “B” designation refers to a standard rib spacing pattern—typically 6 inches on center.
It’s usually made from galvanized steel and formed into a corrugated profile for strength.

The normal machinable thickness range of our steel deck roll forming machine is 0.75-1.2mm, the standard or more used in international market is Gauge 22, 20, 18, 16 (0.75-1.5mm), working raw material is Galvanized steel etc.
